January 2010

Dear Parents/Carers,

Welcome to a new term and a new year!  We hope you had a fabulous break.

P.E

P.E. for Mrs Page’s class is on Tuesdays.  For Mrs Palin’s class it is on Fridays.  Please ensure your child has their P.E. kit for the correct day.  Just a reminder, if your child has ear rings, they need to be removed on PE days.  If they are freshly pierced they may be covered with sticky plasters.  If you do not remove your child’s earrings they will not be able to participate in P.E. lessons.

Outside area

You will notice that our outside area will have some resources already set up in it. We would appreciate it if you do not allow your child/children to play with them while you are waiting to come into school.

Uniform

We have had many incidents of lost clothing since September.  Please ensure your child’s clothing is clearly labelled, this makes it much easier for staff to return misplaced items.  The weather has been extremely cold recently; please ensure your child has appropriate clothing in school for spending time outdoors.  A hat, scarf and gloves will help to keep your child warm outside.  It is helpful if these are placed in your child’s drawer, this makes them easier to find during the day.

Milk

Just a reminder that when your child is 5, you will have to pay 18p a day if you want them to continue to have milk.

We are looking forward to an exciting new term with your children!
